The venue was incredibly clean and nice, conveniently located within walking distance of the city center, and the service I received was excellent, making for a pleasant stay.

The room was high standard and new-fashioned, with good coffee and climate control. The bed was comfortable, and the staff were very supportive and competent. The hotel is conveniently located close to the town center and a 10-minute walk from a cultural center.

Overall had very very good stay on a business trip. The location was perfect, just 5 min walk from a memorial center. Besides, it was just off a shopping area, the tram and the center on walking distance to the market. The room was compact and good-sized, but best of all was city view. The breakfast was wonderful and included.

The deluxe queen room was top-class and the location was convenient, close to restaurants, Gelsenkirchen, and the city center.

I had a really good stay at this hotel. the location was perfect as it was right in the heart of the city center. It was so convenient to explore the city and everything was within walking distance. Secondly, the staff were polite, friendly, and always quick to respond to any requests or queries. They made me feel welcome and taken care of throughout my stay. Lastly, the rooms were modern, clean, and well-equipped with all the basic amenities I needed. The queen bed was comfortable, and it was great to have both AC and a bath in the room. Plus, having breakfast included was a bonus, and the buffet spread was amazing with a wide variety of options to choose from.

free wifi, or better fare structure! it corporate with Tele.com, and charge 8 euro for 1 hr, 29 for whole month. it appears that 29 euro for whole month is always better, but who will stay in a hotel for a month?! a reasonable, customize fare of wifi is truly important

The breakfast here is absolutely fantastic and offers a wide variety of dishes, plus the rooms are decent and the view from the window overlooks the city; the convenience of the location is also a major perk, with the Cathedral of Essen just a short 10-minute walk away.

The cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. All the staff spoke excellent English which was obviously a bonus. We were over for the Eurovision Song Contest and they gave us maps and travel tips of how to get around Essen and Dusseldorf. Extremely helpful.

Nothing - we loved it!

This place is a great value for money with fantastic food and friendly staff, and the garden view is enjoyable. The Ostviertel district is definitely worth exploring.
